Samsung Climate Solutions announces its latest partnership with national home assistance provider, HomeServe, to grow its service coverage for its heat pump customers. The collaboration allows Samsung to expand its existing service and repair network, providing homeowners and heat pump installers with the assurance needed when selecting and installing its solutions. Samsung’s heat pump customers As part of the alliance, Samsung’s heat pump clients will be able to take benefit of HomeServe’s offering As part of the partnership, Samsung’s heat pump customers will be able to take advantage of HomeServe’s offering, to service and maintain their heat pumps with confidence.  HomeServe’s service plans will be available for all products covered by applicable Samsung heat pump warranty terms and conditions. Network of home experts With HomeServe, homeowners can choose from a series of plans which include annual servicing, technical support, repair services and trouble shooting. Samsung heat pump customers who opt for a HomeServe plan can also rely on a nationwide network of home experts to look after their product. Samsung and HomeServe together aim to ensure heat pumps are accessible and easily understood by homeowners across the UK. Partnering with Samsung will allow HomeServe to further support those homeowners switching to heat pumps through its servicing and maintenance offering. Hive has announced that pioneering technology company - Samsung is now part of the Works With Hive network. From now, Samsung Wi-Fi-enabled heat pump owners will be able to control their devices and gain insights through the Hive App, alongside any other Hive or Works With Hive devices that they own. Hive, who are part of Centrica, says compared to 2024, they have seen an 87% uplift in people registering their interest in a heat pump so far this year, ahead of expectations. Number of heat pump customers Hive also reported that double the number of heat pump customers are now using the UK Government's Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS), which offers grants of up to £7,500 to support heat pump purchases, in 2025 vs. 2024. Eco-tech industry pioneer - Hive attributes this rise to increased awareness of benefits and confidence in the technology's suitability for UK homes. The winners will be announced on Wednesday, 25th June 2025, at InstallerSHOW, taking place at Birmingham NEC.
