Thomas Hary Nominated New President Of GF Piping Systems

The Board of Directors of GF has nominated Thomas Hary as new President of GF Piping Systems, effective 1 June 2025. He succeeds Andreas Müller who has assumed the position on an interim basis alongside his role as CEO of GF. Thomas Hary (44), a German citizen, has held various positions at GF since joining the company in 2005. He began his career in strategic planning at GF Machining Solutions and moved to GF Piping Systems in 2011. Wide range of business segments Since 1 October 2019, he has served as CFO of GF Piping Systems until December 2023In early 2014, he was appointed CFO of the Business Unit Americas. In 2016, he transitioned to GF Casting Solutions as CFO. Since 1 October 2019, he has served as CFO of GF Piping Systems until December 2023. He then took over as Head of the Business Unit Industry/Utility at GF Piping Systems. Thomas Hary holds a Master of Science degree in Business Administration and Economics from the University of Mannheim (Germany). With a career spanning three GF divisions and deep experience across a wide range of business segments, Thomas Hary brings broad market and product expertise to his new role. He possesses an in-depth understanding of GF Piping Systems, built through many years in operational and key financial leadership roles. Strengthening global cooperation Thomas Hary has played a pivotal role in strengthening global cooperation across GF’s international and local organizations. Thomas Hary will join the GF Executive Committee led by CEO Andreas Müller. With a wealth of experience in HVAC applications, from his years as an installer to managing positions in sales and business development at Siemens, Fabrizio Vagli will now drive innovation and sustainability in GF Piping Systems’ industrial cooling business in key segments such as data centers, marine and industrial process cooling. Growth Through Innovation Fabrizio Vagli started as an HVAC installer before switching to a planning office. This led him to a 15-year career at Siemens where he worked in areas such as Energy Performance Contracting as well as OEM HVAC Controls. Fabrizio Vagli started as an HVAC installer before switching to a planning office Before his appointment as Head of Industrial Cooling at GF Piping Systems, he also gained valuable experience in the world of start-ups and SMEs. Fabrizio Vagli completed a bachelor’s degree in HVAC and holds an EMBA in International Management & Affairs. At GF Piping Systems, he will develop and implement strategies for the Swiss flow solution provider’s cooling business that drive innovation and address the needs of customers – with the aim of achieving sustainable growth while enabling long-term efficiency increases.
