WindowMaster introduces its latest breakthrough in natural ventilation: the WML 870 Louvre Actuator.

This compact, high-performance actuator, designed for louvre windows delivers precise, whisper-quiet operation, ensuring optimal indoor climate control without compromising façade esthetics.

WindowMaster’s MotorLink®

The WML 870 is equipped with WindowMaster’s MotorLink® and TrueSpeed™ technologies. It has a slim profile and is surface-mountable, which makes it ideal for narrow slat profiles.

TrueSpeed™ enables window movement as slow as 0.3mm per second, meaning actuators run silently, contributing to lowering operational noise within the building’s interior. MotorLink® enables precise position feedback, ensuring opening, closing, or tilting to the desired angle with the highest accuracy, performing at three adjustable speeds.

Advanced control for smart facade integration

WML 870 can be controlled by conventional 24V or WindowMaster’s own MotorLink® control units

Designed for modern commercial and industrial buildings, the WML 870 can be controlled by conventional 24V or WindowMaster’s own MotorLink® control units. This results in a seamless integration into networked window automation, delivering dynamic façades that enhance occupant comfort.

WML 870 is available as both a single actuator or in a synchronized version for dual-actuator operation without the need for an external module. Additionally, the push and pull force can be reprogrammed post-installation to optimize performance and extend the life of window seals.

Compact powerhouse

Measuring just 318 x 34 x 29mm, the WML 870 is one of the most compact louvre actuators on the market. Compatible with a wide variety of pioneering window brands, including Fieger, WML 870 is currently pending a CE-marking according to EN-12101-2.

As Erik Boyter, WindowMaster’s CEO, says, “A slim, discreet, and exceptionally efficient actuator like the WML 870 doesn’t just enhance comfort in, e.g., offices, schools, and hospitals, it unlocks new design possibilities. Available for louvre windows, architects can seamlessly specify natural ventilation as never before, without compromising on esthetics or performance.”
