Malco Tools, Inc., a prominent manufacturer in the HVAC and construction tool sectors, has announced its acquisition by Aspen Pumps Group.
This strategic move marks a significant expansion for both companies within the heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC/R) industry.
Global Expansion of Aspen Pumps Group
Founded in 1992 by three air conditioning engineers, Aspen Pumps Group has developed into a global entity, distributing products to over 100 countries.
The company, headquartered in the United Kingdom, is renowned for its innovative solutions in the HVAC/R sector, including condensate removal pumps, tools, and accessories.

The acquisition is set to enhance Aspen's strong portfolio of HVAC/R aftermarket solutions by integrating Malco's expertise and product range.
Malco Tools will maintain its operations from its Annandale, Minnesota headquarters, which will also serve as Aspen's North American base. This transition is expected to introduce new tools and product lines, broadening the reach within the HVAC/R market.
Leadership Transition and Future Prospects
In line with this expansion, Rich Benninghoff, President and CEO of Malco Tools, will assume the position of CEO of Aspen Pumps Group North America, effective immediately.
