Daikin Applied Americas has secured an exclusive license to Sorbent Ventilation Technology® (SVT®) from enVerid Systems Inc., a well-regarded player in the field of indoor air quality (IAQ) and energy-efficient HVAC solutions.
Facilitating the transaction, Falls River Group (FRG) served as the exclusive financial advisor for enVerid. Although the specifics of the agreement were not made public, this move allows Daikin Applied to expand its reach within the HVAC sector.
Strategic Acquisition for Enhanced IAQ Solutions
The acquisition grants Daikin Applied the exclusive rights to manufacture, market, and distribute the SVT technology in North America. SVT is known for its pioneering sorbent-based air-cleaning technology, which is designed to enhance IAQ in commercial buildings while significantly lowering energy consumption.
Over the past decade, SVT has been adopted widely across various sectors, including commercial, educational, and governmental domains. It holds the distinction of being the only technology independently verified to meet all contaminant criteria outlined in ASHRAE Standard 62.1.
